Favstar.fm started offering bonus features in May 2010.  I’m humbled that over 400 people have now purchased them.  This has covered the cost of hosting the servers over the last year, and given me confidence to keep investing my time and improving the service.

To say thank you to the earliest supporters.  I’ve just extended your bonus features by 2 months if you purchased them in May or June, the first 2 months they were offered.

You might remember the bonus features were released in an awkward manner, with very simple paypal integration.  It’s still my plan to allow the bonus features to be subscribed to for a cost of somewhere around $5 - $10 a month, rather than having to pay a larger sum up front.  I expect I’ll have this done by January, as I have a little time off client work lined up to work on this and other things I’ve wanted to improve in Favstar.
