@Favstar_Bot Fail
So the new feature launch went pretty badly today.
@favstar_bot got suspended after making only 32 tweets. 5 minutes after @favstar announced it to 13,000 followers.
Then unsuspended when a friendly @twitter staff member helped. Yay!
Then suspended after 92 tweets.
Then unsuspended by the staff member trying another trick.
Then suspended at 108 or so tweets.

Explaining because a lot of people are wondering what’s going on. @nusku starred 15,000 tweets in 3 days, agreed to have them removed, said he understood why it was bad, then tweeted this:

I’ve since put a block on him starring more tweets via Favstar, and stopped his tweets from appearing on the leaderboards.

I just got my second 100 star tweet last night. It was a Leno joke I made a few months ago. Way to strike while the iron is hot, Stereo. Maybe the whole ‘Is Leno and NBC screwing over Conan?’ thing got it those last two stars it needed.
